Enhance the production and consumption of electricity within your condominium with a Collective Self-Consumption Group, saving on common expenses and improving energy performance.
The CACER decree of January 24, 2024, encourages shared renewable energy produced by energy community configurations and self-consumption groups, such as Collective Self-Consumption.
What it is
It is a group composed of members of the same condominium, where a new photovoltaic system is installed to produce and share renewable electricity. The systems can be located in the relevant areas or in the common spaces of a condominium.
How it works
The establishment of a Collective Self-Consumption Group can be decided in the condominium assembly, with open and voluntary participation. The energy produced is self-consumed by the users directly connected to the system (e.g., common areas), while any excess is fed into the national grid. This excess can be "virtually" consumed by the same residents when their consumption coincides with the production of the same energy by the system, particularly during the central hours of the day. The Collective Self-Consumption Group thus receives "double" incentives recognized by the GSE for enhancing renewable electricity fed into the grid.
With Geoside, you will find an ideal partner to establish a Collective Self-consumption Group with no economic risk for the condominium and who supports you at every stage.
